BOS Africa and The Temple Company Formalise Strategic Educational Partnership

BOS Africa Limited and The Temple Company Limited have formalised a strategic partnership to strengthen collaboration across sports business, media, entertainment and the creative industries.

On 14 October 2026, A strategic partnership between the two institutions was sealed over a signing and handshake through Beverley Agbakoba-Onyejianya, Founder and Academic Director of BOS Institute Africa, and Terfa Tilley-Gyado, CEO and President of The Temple Company Limited. This brings together two organisations with complementary areas of expertise and a shared interest in creating opportunities for industry engagement, professional development and knowledge exchange. It establishes a foundation for joint initiatives that connect sports business education with the wider commercial and creative landscape.

BOS Africa is a Pan-African sports business education platform focused on Education and Training, Research and Innovation, and Job Mobility and Recruitment. Through its work, the organisation seeks to equip professionals with relevant knowledge, strengthen industry capacity and improve access to career opportunities within the sports business sector.

The Temple Company operates across talent, media, entertainment, sports and the arts, with a focus on the creative and commercial opportunities within these industries. Its involvement creates scope for collaboration between sports business education and the broader entertainment and creative economy.

Creating Opportunities for Industry Collaboration

Through the partnership, BOS Africa and The Temple Company will explore initiatives
including industry events, professional learning experiences and thought leadership
engagements. These platforms will encourage conversations around the business of sport, industry developments and the opportunities emerging at the intersection of sports, media and entertainment.

The collaboration also creates opportunities to bring together industry professionals, emerging talent and other stakeholders to exchange perspectives, build professional connections and engage with the evolving demands of the sector.

As Africa’s sports industry continues to develop, collaboration between education platforms and organisations operating within related industries can contribute to stronger professional networks, improved industry knowledge and a more connected business environment.

Advancing the Future of Sports Business in Africa

For BOS Africa, the partnership supports its commitment to developing the knowledge, skills and professional networks required to strengthen Africa’s position in the global sports business landscape. Collaboration with organisations across sports and related creative industries provides opportunities to connect professional learning with industry experience.

For The Temple Company, the partnership establishes a platform for engagement with sports business education and the development of initiatives that bring together stakeholders from across these interconnected sectors.

Both organisations will build on their respective expertise to explore opportunities that support industry dialogue, professional development and the growth of Africa’s sports business ecosystem.

The partnership marks a step towards stronger connections between sports business education and the wider creative economy, with a focus on creating meaningful opportunities for professionals and contributing to the continued development of the sector across the continent.

During the signing, Ms Agbakoba Onyejianya stated that “It is an exciting time to build BOS Africa through strategic partnerships with organisations such as The Temple. With a shared vision for stronger sports and creative ecosystems across the continent, BOS Africa looks forward to contributing to the growth of this sector over the next decade, driven by Africa’s young and dynamic workforce.”
